I haven't written any thing for several months.  Though I have tried to keep up with events around the nation and world and what others have opined.  Most of what I have observed, heard and read is disgusting to the point of heart brake.

It seems that Valori Plame, Scooter Libby, Anna Nicole Smith and the latest American Idol are the most important stories on the news programs.  But that's ok I guess, it seems the "news" outlets tell us only what they want us to believe.  The Media has become a political entity dedicated to the indoctrination of the masses.  Are you searching for the truth?  Good luck.  It's like an archeological dig; deep, difficult, vague, elusive and confusing.  If you find any truth let me warn you it may be disturbing.

The Politicians spiel, the Media slants, the Universities teach, the Churches preach and Hollywood produces indoctrination.  Very good at what they do I have to say, since roughly 50% of the American People obviously believe their crud.  Do you?

It is my opinion that a dangerous percentage of Americans can't find Iraq on a map.  The same Americans don't know the Speaker of the House, or how many justices are on the Supreme Court.  But they do know the latest American Idol and are waiting on the edge of their couches to learn who fathered Anna Nicole's baby and Al Gore won an Oscar because the world has a fever, the ice-bergs are melting and will soon flood New York City.

I kid you not this is a disturbing truth.  The ignorant are easily manipulated.

I don't watch much "news" the content is more sensationalism than journalism and slanted to an ideology.  The information is untrustworthy.  I've been reading blogs and articles written by the G.I.s (Soldiers on the ground, Sailors on the seas, Pilots in the air) to get the truth about the war.  I trust these people.  My Grandfather was a soldier in WWI in France.  My Father was a soldier in WWII in Belgium.  I was a soldier in East Africa in the 60s just before the escalation in Nam.  I have two sons-in-law who are soldiers.  I know soldiers and I trust them.  I believe you can also.

Whoa!  "Hold on", you say?  Talk about indoctrination.  "The military is the king of indoctrination", you say.  Well you are absolutely right and the military is very, very good at it.  The military not only teach and preach but drill, grill, and cram down a soldier's throat things like unity, duty, honor, character, tenacious disiplined determination.  Also develops physical and mental fortitude, survival skills, how to protect yourself and those around you, the import of the mission and how to win by attrition.  Oh yes, how to deliver a killing blow.  Actually, my Father had taught me many of these same attributes by the time I was 12.  He was a good man, a good soldier, a good Father and a good American. "Indoctrination"?  You damn right!

Listen to what the soldiers say.  It's the truth!

Political truth?  Not hardly.

The soldiers on the ground tell me that they can win this war.  I don't doubt them for a second.  But it's not the war in Iraq that frightens me.  I'm confident our soldiers can win any war they are allowed to win. It's the war at home, the power war that will destroy us.

Our Politicians are on a course that will eventually destroy this nation.  I believe this to be fact because the only interest they demonstrate is in their power and money.  Our Congressional Leaders, both parties, are consumed with self-interest and political power (at any cost).  Grossly corrupt opportunists are leading this nation down the road to ruin and they act like they have the blessing of the American People.  Actually they do have the blessing of about half the American People.  Not one person currently seeking the Presidency deserves our support, not one.  This is a disturbing truth.  There may be a handful of people in Congress who deserves to be there.  This is a distrubing truth.

I believe that we are doomed to destruction at the hands of our leaders and there is not one thing we can do now to stop the whirlwind.  If my grandchildren are to survive the nuclear attack from Iran, North Korea or China they will have to face the East and pray to Allah.  Unless there is a miracle.

All the while Congress will be issuing subpoenas, investigation Scooter, fretting over Valori, and filibustering.  But surely by that time we will have learned who fathered Anna's baby.  We can only hope.

Tonight, 9/13/06 Brett Hume's "Special Report" was saturated with Valore Plame.  Give me a break, no one cares about Valore Plame.  Let me repeat, no one, absolutely no one cares about Valore Plame.  No one ever cared about Valore Plame.  Don't waste my time with Valore Plame any more.  No one cares about Valore Plame.  Let me repeat, no one cares about Valore Plame!!!  Except maybe some disgruntled Democrats.

Let us talk about Foreign Policy or should I say Policy of Appeasement.  I am tired of spending American Soldiers' lives to pacify "World Opinion".  The "World" don't care and I don't about "World Opinion".  Our fate is crystal clear.  This "War on IslamicTerrorism" is kill or be killed.  Believe it!  Anyone and mean ANYONE who believes that we can negociate with Islam is ignorant.  The Islamic tenet is crystal clear.  "Believe what we believe or we'll kill ya".  Listen to what these people are telling us.  Islam will destroy us if we don't stop them.  We cannot talk with these people.  We cannot reason with these people.  These people are not sane according to our definition of sanity.  But in their mind they are the only sane ones.

I "worked" in East Africa in the 60's and was at times in "contact" with Muslems.  They treated me as filth.  They maintained a "distance" from me as if I was diseased and being near me would contaminate them.  If I tried to engage in conversation they would  repell away as if insulted.  The Hate and Fear was thick and unforgiving.  I was obviously white and obviously American therefore a repugnate infidel.  This is what they believe and this is what they live.  We will never change the hate, fear and repulsion they feel for any one not Muslem.  Fact: They hated and feared me then, and they hate and fear me now for I am non-Muslem.  This fact will not change. 

So, what do we do now?  I leave it to you to decide.  Think about it.  But don't think about it to long or we will be building a Mosque in our neighborhood, if we survive.

Question:  Are their any Muslems who don't want to kill us?  If so, they are in peril also.  "Believe the way we believe or we'll kill ya."

Now, think about who you want to lead this Nation.  Who will help us win this war??

I read accounts every day about how the Left and their liberal saturated media are working hard to harm the "war effort".  I agree with Newt G. this is World War III, a global "Religious War".  What is the Left's motivation?  I don't understand their goals.  Are they trying to destroy the United States of America?  Do they want convert to Islam?  Are they allies of "Islamic Jihad"?  Do they view America as the "Great Satan"? Or do they just hate this administration so deeply they will do ANYTHING to bring it down?

I'm a part of this administration.  I'm a Republican, a Mid-America Conservative.  I live in the "Fly-over".  Do you Leftists hate me also?  Or do you just regard me as an unlearned rube whose values and morals are irrelevant?  And how do I view you "Liberal"?  What is my attitude toward you?

I see you "Liberal", and your Democratic Party as power hungry Socialists who want not only power, also absolute control over me, an American.  You want to tax away all of my income and place me in total dependency upon agencies you create.  For my own good of course,  because you know what is best.

I see you "Liberal" as the enemy.  More dangerous than "Islamic Jihad", you are the enemy within.  Disjointed, dysfunctional, Godless, amoral Idealist who see nothing outside of your penthouse, high rise, Malibu environ.  You know nothing about real America or real Americans.  You either don't understand me or you don't care about me therefore you underestimate me, an American.  Be assured I do not underestimate you.

So, what do we do now?

I've been reading some of the comments about the NYT and the disclosure of obviously sensitive information about the programs developed to aid in the War on Terror.  Some of the comments are very caustic.  Understandable.  We (American Citizens) should be mindful that we live in, operate and enjoy our free democratic society,  Free societies always contain elements of different ideologies.  Moreover, these elements have a right to be vocal.  This is a given.

That said, I agree with the commentator "firetoice" that the MSM is miss named.  It should not be named at all.  It is merely a propaganda outlet and should be observed in that light.  It is obvious that the goal of the editors of the NYT is to cause as much harm as possible to those they don't like.  Also obvious is their intense hatred for "conservatives" or Main Stream America, namely the "flyovers".

The troubling aspect of this hate movement is that it is spawned and propagated on the East and West Coast, containing nearly 50% of the entire Nation's population.  Even more disturbing is that this segment of popuilation seems to buy into this mindset.  The propaganda contunually disseminated not only by the NYT but the leftists in general feeds the hate and insures National Division.  This is the root.  This Division is a destructive blight on our very existence as a moral, free society.

Our Congressional Leadership, if you can call it that, is a prime example of the deep rift that is polarizing our Nation.  All one has to do is listen to and read the bickering, badgering, and outright rude behavior of these people to see that they are not suited for the responsibilities we as voters have given them.

What do we do now?  We combat this blight by researching, blogging, voicing our opinions, voting, being informed, staying in contact with each other and our "Leaders".  Look for, find, and send good Americans to congress.  Honest Americans with moral values and integrity.  You and I know what to look for.  Lets do it!
